Music, the Heartbeat of CAKE Culture
Weekly Drops: Rave Radar + CAKE Mixtape
At CAKE, music isn’t background noise—it’s the heartbeat of our culture. It’s what sparks creativity, fuels connection, and keeps the vibe alive, whether we’re on the dancefloor, in the studio, or sparking one up with friends. Just like good weed and good energy, music is the pulse that drives everything we do.
That’s why we’re starting a new weekly tradition: Rave Radar and the CAKE Mixtape. Each week, we’ll drop a curated guide to the shows we know will be a vibe—handpicked spots across California where the energy is guaranteed to hit different. When you’re at the show keep an eye out for Chloe, or one of the CAKE Babes, they may be in the crowd! To get vibes going we’ll be dropping a weekly Spotify playlist so you always have good music for whatever you’re getting into.

CAKE Mixtape Vol. 1
CAKE's Weekly Playlist Drop
This week we are featuring 2010 EDM anthems. The 2010s were bigger than just drops and builds—they were a movement. Warehouse raves, neon lights, festival fields, sweaty nights that turned into sunrise… EDM was a cultural shift. It cracked open the mainstream, connected strangers on the dancefloor, and made us all feel unstoppable.
These tracks weren’t just charting #1—they were moments, portals, and memories that shaped a generation.
A Few Essentials You’ll Hear
-
Zedd – Clarity (ft. Foxes): Euphoric, emotional, and the definition of scream-singing with your crew.
-
Calvin Harris – Feel So Close: A crossover anthem that still hits like it’s 2012.
-
Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child: Goosebumps every single time.
-
Avicii – Levels: Legendary anthem from the one and only. Rest in Paradise. More than a song—it was the mainstream gateway into the world of EDM.
Why It Still Hits
This era taught us that wild energy and deeper connection go hand-in-hand. The drop wasn’t just sound—it was a release, a collective high. And that’s the same energy we channel with cannabis: dissolving walls, living in the present, and creating culture together.

Next week? A whole new vibe. But this week, it’s about remembering where we came from—and feeling it all over again.
